About the Role
Lead Klarity's AI strategy and technical execution. You'll own the AI/ML roadmap — from intelligent agent architecture to provider-matching algorithms and clinical automation. Build and grow the AI team as the technical leader for everything intelligence-powered at the company.
What You'll Own
- AI/ML strategy and roadmap — define how AI agents power provider matching, care coordination, and platform automation
- Technical leadership — architect and ship production ML systems including LLM-based agents, recommendation engines, and NLP pipelines
- Team building — hire and lead a world-class AI/ML engineering team
- Research-to-production pipeline — translate cutting-edge AI research into reliable, scalable healthcare products
- Data strategy — partner with engineering and product to build the data infrastructure that fuels intelligent systems
- AI safety and compliance — ensure AI systems meet healthcare regulatory requirements and ethical standards
Who You Are
- 8+ years in ML/AI engineering with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, and production ML systems
- Published research or significant open-source contributions in ML/NLP is a plus
- Experience shipping AI products in healthcare, marketplace, or high-stakes domains
- Strong engineering fundamentals — you can architect systems, not just train models
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $270K – $340K
